Curriculum

Class period
Monday through Friday 20 hours a week (800 hours a year in total)
9:00-12:50 (Intermediate and advanced), 13:10-17:00 (Elementary)
Covered cotents
Grammar, comprehension, conversation, listening, writing, composition, vocabulary, current affairs in Japan,
Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students, Japanese Language Proficiency Test,
Japanese culture (tea ceremony and flower arrangement)
Goals
To pass the 1st and 2nd grad of Japanese Language Proficiency Test
To enroll at vocational colleges, universities and graduate schools in Japan
To acquire academic language skills in Japanese for a higher education
To acquire speaking/writing skills for a future career
To observe Japanese culture and the society


Elementary level
To be able to have useful conversations for a daily life, and read and write simple sentences.
To build a foundation for general conversations and reading comprehension.

  Basic sentence patterns, vocabulary, listening, pronunciation/ Expressions for daily converstaions
Composition of simple sentences
Intermediate level
Aims to be able to talk, read and write about general topics.

  Useful sentence patterns and vocabulary for various expressions/
Reading comprehension and pronunciation for natural conversations/
Expressions including honorific languages for natural conversations
Advanced level
To gain a higher command of the language using many different materials
such as newspapers, TV programs, videos, magazines, literature.
To gain useful language skills for an academic life at a higher education in Japan.
To gain an all-round command of the language for a life.
